Adult Psychometric Assessment

Sydney Psych Hub offers psychometric assessments for people of all ages.

These assessments can be conducted to assess for intellectual or learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties (including ADHD), and adaptive functioning difficulties. The results are often used to help inform decisions around educational and or vocational plans.

What is a Psychometric assessment?

Psychometric assessments involve the use of standardised, evidence-based tools to measure aspects of cognitive functioning, attention, memory, executive skills, emotional wellbeing, and personality.

Our psychologists combine assessment results with clinical interviews and background history to provide a clear picture of your mental health and functioning. This process can identify conditions such as ADHD, learning difficulties, mood or anxiety disorders, and other neuropsychological concerns. Please note that we currently do not provide Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments.

The outcome of an assessment is a detailed report, including tailored recommendations for treatment, workplace or study supports, and strategies for daily living.
